Growing up west of Latham, Kansas, Angela Cerney has been shooting from a very young age. Her love for shooting sports blossomed at the age of 10 when she discovered she was left eye dominant. This knowledge allowed her to adjust her technique and increase her success in-- and love for-- the hobby. As a young adult, her father introduced her to hunting and ingrained in her the mantra of "one shot, one kill". Later, Angela's children were enrolled in 4-H and began participating in the Shooting Sports program. This opened the door for her to get involved as well. She became the 4-H Pistol Instructor, and later became the 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator and Hunter's Education Assistant Instructor. After the El Dorado State Park Range opened, she participated in the NRA Range Safety Officer course that was offered by the range and was subsequently elected to become a Chief Range Safety Officer. As a result, many more opportunities were given to her. The El Dorado range was looking for an organizer for their Hunter's Education course and she stepped up. She took all the steps required for becoming a Certified Instructor, but she didn’t stop there. Even though she was already a 4-H Pistol Instructor, Angela decided to broaden her knowledge base by certifying as a NRA Pistol Instructor. This led to her becoming licensed to teach CCL in the state of Kansas. 
Angela believes that you should never stop learning, so she continues her training and is always willing to share her knowledge to help others achieve their shooting goals.
